When to go to Nauru
Go from June to September, the driest months, when northeast trades take the edge off the equatorial heat. Nauru sits almost on the equator, so there are no cyclones, and like its neighbours its rainfall swings with El Nino years.

In short
The year at a glance
Nauru is the world's least-visited country and its third smallest: a single 21-square-kilometre raised island with one road around it, no official capital and a strange, compelling history of phosphate boom and bust. Visitors come precisely because almost nobody does.
It is hot and humid every day of the year, with highs stuck at 30 to 31 degrees. June to September is the driest stretch, around 110 to 140 mm a month against 250-plus in the December to February wet season. An advance visa and Nauru Airlines' small Brisbane-based network are the real planning constraints, more than the weather.
