In short

The year at a glance

Fiji is a tropical archipelago in the South Pacific, warm year round, with a dry and a wet season and a calendar that runs opposite the northern hemisphere. We rate on Nadi, the main gateway, where the dry season from May to October brings the sunniest, most comfortable weather.

The wet season from November to April is hotter and more humid with heavier rain, and it carries the cyclone risk, highest from December to March. Even so, the rain often comes in short bursts and the water stays warm and inviting, so resorts run year round.
