In short
The year at a glance
Czechia is a classic central European destination with four distinct seasons, and we rate on Prague. Late spring and early autumn are the pick of the year, with mild, pleasant days and far smaller crowds than the summer peak on the Charles Bridge.
Summer is warm, long and very busy, while winter is cold and grey but genuinely atmospheric, with the old town under snow and the famous Christmas markets in December. The countryside and spa towns like Cesky Krumlov follow the same rhythm.
